Sport & Dance

Sport at Falkner House is an integral part of the girls’ lives and plays an important role in their personal growth and development.

Frequent matches against other schools promote sportsmanship, teamwork and personal pride. We keep our Calendar up to date with details of upcoming fixtures.

Whether they are an elite performer on the national stage or a member of the Netball C team, we encourage a life-long love for sport and the values it embodies.

The girls have the opportunity to participate in many sports and forms of dance including; netball, swimming, cricket, athletics, cross country, hockey, and gymnastics, ballet and street dance. From Battersea Park to Holland Park, to Fulham Pools and Chelsea Sports Centre, to our own playground and hall; our fantastic sports team use the very best that London has to offer in terms of facilities and outdoor spaces. For maps of the locations, see our Parent Information page.

Noteworthy Sport After Falkner House

Achieving huge things in the sailing world, old Falkner House Girl Tabitha Davies has not only been selected to represent Team GB at international events around the world, but in 2021 she won the National Optimist Championships at just 13 years old, qualifying her to take part in the infamous Gold Cup in Bermuda. Devastatingly she could not attend due to Covid restrictions, but she did not let that hold her back, and this year she became the highest placed British (male or female) sailor at the 2023 Lake Garda Optimist Regatta for the last 15 years.
