Science and technology never stand still at Falkner House.
These are subjects that inform our understanding of the human body, the environment, the world, and the universe. We are in no doubt that Falkner House teachers are the best in London at inspiring the girls to ask questions, to enquire, and above all to have a growth mindset; wherein failure is just a stepping stone.
Technology is integrated into the daily lives of all of the girls. MacBooks are used for all the children from Reception to Year 6 and the IT curriculum includes programming, animation, multimedia presentations, creation of 3D virtual environments, research, spreadsheets and databases.
In Years 4, 5 and 6, pupils have their own iPad, their specialised Falkner House programme includes the use of personalised iBook textbooks written by our staff.
