Our trip to the Tower of London was a great success! We saw sparkly crown jewels, golden robes and four poster beds with thick curtains.  They didn’t have heating back then so they had large fire places and thick blankets to keep warm. My favourite part was when our tour guide explained how Father John Gerard escaped from the Tower using orange juice as secret writing ink, it was very clever! The mythology of the ravens was fascinating, especially interesting was how they need a few extra ravens in case any go missing.  I can’t wait to go back with my family!
