“This week in Year 6 PSHE, the girls used the 6 Thinking Hats activity to explore the strands of thinking. We discussed the question: ‘Are the Olympics important?’ They had great fun using the hats and finding out about their meanings.
Each hat has a meaning; white is for knowledge and facts, blue is for thinking about thinking, the green hat is for creative thoughts and ideas, and the red hat is all about feelings and likes or dislikes. The yellow hat looks for strengths and positivity whilst the black hat is used for judgement and problem spotting.
After much discussion, 14 girls decided that the Olympics were useful and worthwhile whilst 6 girls decided against. What do you think?” Mrs Kelly
