In science, Year 4 have been learning about the Moon. To find out how craters are created we dropped marbles from a height and measured the size of the impact craters. We used different sized marbles and varied the height or the trajectory path. What fun.

This is definitely an experiment that you could try at home. You need a tub of flour with a thin layer of cocoa powder on top and a few marbles or small bouncy balls. Perhaps do this one outside. It was a little floury! Mrs Kelly.
