As part of their Religious Education lessons, Year 4 have been learning about the third pillar of Islam: charity. Inspired by last year’s class, they decided to take action and support a cause close to their hearts. Working both independently and in groups, pupils researched a range of charities and delivered thoughtful presentations to their peers.

Following a class vote, Make-A-Wish was chosen as the charity Year 4 will support this year. To raise funds, the pupils will be baking and selling cookies at Sports Day. All donations will go towards helping grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
