“On Thursday the 12^th June Year 4 had a cricket match against Garden House. We were all excited because it was our first cricket match. We played at Burton Court opposite the royal hospital. It was a nice sunny day. We had less players than Garden House so some of the garden house players helped us field. The star player of our team was Ava, and the Garden House star player was a girl called Gigi. Emily was great at batting, she hit several 4s and Ava was superb at bowling, she bowled zero wide balls. We drew 46 – 46. Hopefully next time we will win.”
