“On Wednesday 5th November, Year 5 had a netball match against Garden House at Battersea Park. As ever, we were all very excited for the match, our first in the second half of the term. Our team from Garden House was a very strong contender, especially given that a couple of their players were very tall (GA & GK) and made our work more difficult. Despite this, our team worked really well. Mia (C) was quick and agile in her passes in the centre position alongside Eliza (WA) and Caterina (WD) who wonderfully helped in the attach and defence strategy respectfully. From the middle to the defence we showed speed and determination, intercepting many critical opponent passes. Cress (GK) and Sofia (GD) worked well and coordinated defending our score line. In the opponent attack we had a very tall player who was their top and only scorer with 10 goals. Anoushka (GS) and Alix G (GA) worked extremely well and scored 4 goals for the team. Overall in was an amazing match and we were all very proud of how well we worked. Despite the loss, it was probably our best match in terms of teamwork.
