We were delighted to receive the following email from a member of the public today, and thought you might enjoy reading it as much as we did…

“I hope my email finds you well! I run a private football x life skill mentoring programme in which I try to instil some key life skills into young people using the sport I love the most.

While doing that in the past few years I have come across ex and current Falkner House students and with many of them I have been lucky enough to build such a special bond and friendship.

I am writing this email to show my admiration on how your school is teaching / raising its students as without exaggerating every kid I have come across from Falkner House has been a joy to coach.

At the start of all my sessions I tend to ask the kids I work with how their day in school was and without fail all the children from Falkner have a positive thing to say about their day in school.

I currently coach a number of students from Falkner as well as different schools who have been doing / preparing for exams and I must say again I really admire how your school goes about it as your students are less anxious and don’t feel or they tend to manage the pressure better.

As a coach I shouldn’t have favourites however some of your year 2 students such as … and … have been my go to examples for all my other group of kids I coach. They represent your school very well and have beautiful friendships amongst each other.

I would also like to give a special shout out to … from year 4 as well as … from year 2 who I have known since they were 3 years old and are very popular amongst all the kids I coach because of their bubbly and positive personality which I firmly believe your school environment played a big role in that.”
