We had a wonderful start to the new school year, focusing on friendships and ‘settling back into Nursery’. The children enjoyed meeting and making new friends and shared stories of their holiday adventures. The activities and areas both inside and out were explored within their Nursery setting.

Our nook under the stairs became a kitchen where the children cooked for their friends and teachers. The laughter could be heard in both classes as the budding chefs shared their culinary treats.

In the letter room, Paddington Bear, Kipper and Maisy Mouse were joined by other familiar story characters for a picnic in the garden.

Inspired by the much-loved book ‘Pete and Polo’s Nursery School Adventure’, by Adrian Reynolds, everyone made a teddy bear mask to take home.
