This week we continued focusing on our last fairy tale of the term, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. The Giant’s Castle continued to be very popular, likewise the story tray. The children retold and re-enacted the familiar fairy tale and created their own versions using puppets and dolls alongside story props and books. Various versions of ‘Fee fi fo fum’ could be heard coming from inside the castle and the number room.

There has been great excitement and anticipation as the seeds we planted in the clear plastic pot, grew roots and then germinated.

Our herbs are thriving in the Nursery Garden Centre. The children practised their potting skills, planting their own been seeds. With care and the help of a sprinkling of water and sunlight we look forward to seeing them grow over the next few weeks!

Today, the children are taking something special home in their bags that they made for their mother’s for Mother’s Day. We wish you all a wonderful weekend!
