This week we have been focusing on Harvest and the types of fruit and vegetables we find during Autumn.

The children tended to the garden under the stairs. They worked together raking away the leaves and growing vegetables ready to be harvested.

In the letter room we all enjoyed taking part in fun sensory experiences such as exploring the inside and outside of pumpkins and making footprint pears. A combination of smiles and grimaces could be seen on the children’s faces while giggles could be heard throughout the Nursery!

In the number room the children enjoyed more sensory experiences from counting seeds we collected from the pumpkins to scooping up lentils and moving them in and around orange coloured wooden treasures, pumpkins and munchkins in our colour tray.
