This week we continued our focus on spiders. We have enjoyed a very creative week based around these eight-legged minibeasts, from making collage spiders, to drawing them and moulding them out of playdough.

The ‘Very Busy Spider’ and all her farm friends remained a big hit under the stairs. As too Incy Wincy and his friends in the water trough in the letter room.

We have ten new additions in Nursery, caterpillars! There was great excitement as these tiny minibeasts were carefully passed around in the safety of their pots. Over the next few weeks we will observe their growth and amazing metamorphosis as they change from caterpillars to butterflies.

On Friday, the children took home something special which they planted for their fathers. We wish you all a wonderful weekend celebrating fathers on Sunday!
