This week we focused on Easter, a time to think about love and forgiveness within our families and friends and enjoy the wonders of the new life we see in spring.

We have had a very creative week painting spring flowers with water colour paints and stencils and make rabbit ear headbands. Mother animals and their spring babies continued to be favoured toys to play with, as were the tiny rabbits and hens in the discovery trays.

During the week we had a lot of fun in our morning and afternoon cross-country races. The big girls got involved, loudly cheering the children on, as Nursery raced laps around the playground.

Today we celebrated the end of the term with a scrumptious Easter party. There was great excitement as the Easter Rabbit’s ‘ears’ were spotted through the window leading us to eggs hidden around the playground for us to find.

After three weeks of care and attention, the children were delighted to take their beanstalks home showing varying stages of growth and height.

The children are very excited and proud to bring their spring term folders home today too. Please take the time to go through them with your children which highlight what we have focused on this term.  As ever, the children love to show you what they have been doing,

We wish you all a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing you again in the Summer term.
