This week we continued to focus on the Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama, also known as the ‘Princess of Polka Dots’.

Our Yayoi inspired home under the stairs continued to be a big hit, so too the castle in the letter room.

As well as Yayoi’s polka dots dominating Nursery’s decor, we also focused on ‘square’ shapes.

The children explored and made patterns in the square shape tray and enjoyed creating their own square art.

In the letter room we focused on the sound ‘q’. The children each made a ‘q’ for quilt fit for a queen.
