This week we focused on ‘Oceans’. Using the globe, we could see how much of the earth is covered with water. The children were introduced to the four different oceans and we looked at some of the incredible creatures that live there.

Under the stairs, our ‘nook’ became an ocean with a few of the wonderous creatures that live in it. Goggles and swimming caps were adorned as the children fully immersed themselves in their undersea adventures.

Whilst in the letter room the children experienced a wet and wild time playing with a mixture of more sea creatures in the water trough.

This week we focused on the sound ‘n’ for narwhales, the unicorn of the sea, where the children discovered the long twisty horn was actually a tooth!
