This week we continued focusing on ‘Feelings’. We spoke about how it is ‘ok’ to feel the way we do. It is important to recognise all our feelings and accept them when we experience them. We then looked at a few ways to manage our feelings.

The Colour Monsters and their ‘feelings’ song continued to be a real hit with many facial expressions, emotional sound effects and of course giggles could be heard from both classes!

In our nook under the stairs, our park became home to Percy the Park Keeper and his friends.

In the letter room, seasonal fruit, vegetables, baked buns and freshly laid eggs were displayed and purchased in the very busy farmers’ market.

A big thank you to Sahani’s mother, Mrs Kansagra who came to introduce the festive celebration Diwali on Thursday afternoon. A big thank you also to everyone who came to Nursery’s open day on Friday. The children were very excited to show parents, grandparents, siblings and their nannies ‘their world’, the activities they enjoy in Nursery and of course their art in their folders and on the walls.

Half term: 21st October – 1st November

Half term has arrived, this is a good opportunity to take plenty of rest. We would strongly encourage children to practice putting on their own shoes and socks during this time.

The Nursery team wish you all a wonderful half term break and we look forward to hearing all about your adventures when Nursery starts again Monday 4th November.
