This week we focused on Easter, a time to think about love and forgiveness within our families and friends and enjoy the wonders of the new life we see in spring.

Mother animals and their spring babies continued to be favoured toys to play with. Under the stairs, more stories were created around the soft toy farm animals. The small world farm moved into the letter room and with the addition of farm vehicles, became a very popular corner!

In the number room, the children enjoyed the herb scented bird garden. There was a lot of egg swapping as they sorted and counted different sized and coloured eggs tended to by a pair of finches.

Today we celebrated the end of the term with a scrumptious Easter party. There was great excitement as the Easter Rabbit’s ‘ears’ were spotted through the window leading us to eggs hidden around the playground for us to find.

The children are very excited and proud to bring their spring term folders home today. Please take the time to go through them with your children – it is a treasury of creativity, which highlights what we have focused on this term.

Holiday homework: The holidays are a great chance to encourage and endorse independence by getting your child to practice putting on socks and shoes!

We wish you all a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing you again in the Summer term.
