This week in nursery we continued to focus on the artist Paul Klee. Inspired by Paul Klee’s painting of ‘Castle and Sun’, the children constructed cities and castles both under the stairs and in the classrooms using a selection of various blocks and shapes.

The children enjoyed our matching shape activities, from searching for shapes around the classroom, to creating pictures and re-enacting our lessons using the ‘mystery bag’.

In the letter room we focused on the sound ‘z’. The children became caretakers for the many boisterous animals causing a rumpus in the small world zoo.
