Year 6 are designing and sewing their own pencil cases in Art this term. In an effort to be more sustainable, we would love to re-purpose old fabrics lying around at home rather than buying new. If you have any old non-stretchy fabric (cotton, linen, denim etc) that would otherwise be heading to landfill or the charity shop, please do send it in before next Friday. Even if there are holes or marks we can still use them as we only need sections that are about 25x25cm. Scraps/ fabric samples are welcome too for decorations!

Examples: old cotton shirt/dress, old pair of jeans/trousers, old pillow case/ bedsheet/ curtains, old apron, old tea towel etc…
