In general, girls join Falkner House in the September following
their fourth birthday. Prior to registration parents are
welcome to visit the school and to discuss their daughter’s
education. During the year before entry, places are offered
after an interview and assessment.
The happiness and success of a child depends on close co-operation
between home and school. Falkner House maintains close links
with parents who are always welcome to come and discuss their
daughter’s progress.
A home-cooked lunch is prepared on the premises offering
a wide selection of hot, cold and vegetarian food. Tea is
available for all.
A broad curriculum is followed throughout the school. Subjects
include English language and literature, mathematics, science,
ICT, religious education, history, geography, fine art, French,
Latin, design technology, music, art, drama and physical
education.
