Falkner
House is a day school for girls between the ages of 4 and
11. There is a nursery for boys and girls from the age of
3.
The school was founded in 1954 by Mrs Flavia Nunes who
remains Principal. Mrs Anita Griggs, her daughter, is Headteacher.
Falkner House is a happy, lively school situated in the heart
of South Kensington. The period house retains all the atmosphere
of home whilst containing the latest equipment essential
for teaching and learning.
The school is well known for its high academic standards
and exceptionally broad curriculum. A love of learning and
acquisition of knowledge for its own sake are central to
the school’s philosophy. Each child is encouraged to
develop her own character, personality and self-esteem.
